		<description>I&#039;m more of a fountain pen user rather than a collector. When I buy a new pen I have an intention to use is, or to keep it as a backup. I have some Parker 51s and a couple of Parker Vacumatics but when it comes to serious writing I rely on my Sailors, and the Professional Gear series in particular. I love the nibs, the finish and balance and that the cut-away ends are perfect for carrying in shirt pockets.

I cannot other than highly recommends Sailors. I have even started a Facebook group called: Sailor Fountain Pens. Please Join in!

As I use to say on Fountain Pen Network: You can never go wrong with a Sailor Sapporo with a medium nib as a first serious fountain pen!
