Hellooooo, We came across this lovely and cute fountain pen when one of our customers wrote in and ask if we are able to obtain the Hello Kitty Sailor fountain pen. After two months of waiting the cute Kitty arrived a few days ago.
Hello Kitty is a fictional character produced by the Japanese company Sanrio. Designed by Ikuko Shimizu, the first product, a vinyl coin purse, was introduced in Japan in 1974, and in the United States in 1976. The Hello Kitty line has since developed licensing arrangements. Riding on the popularity of Hello Kitty, Sailor Japan has produced a special edition with this theme using its ever popular Mini Sapporo fountain pen. With a combination of dark and light pink the Hello Kitty is clearly engraved on the cap and on the 14K fine nib. This fountain pen accepts only Sailor ink cartridges and not converters and the length with cap posted is 13.5cm and cap closed is 10.5cm. The central circumference is 3.8cm.
