Pelikan launched a Special Edition, the Demonstrator in the size 1005, which is the biggest available Pelikan fountain pen size. Similar to their famous Pelikan Souveran M1000 but in a clear demonstrator finish, the nib is made of 18 carat gold, entirely covered by rhodium, to give a silver impression. The clip and the rings are palladium plated. To obtain the completely translucent barrel, every part of the production machine has to be thoroughly cleaned in a time-consuming process, so that not a single color particle remains. Each fountain pen is packed inside an attractive gift box.

It was exciting to see the stocks arrived at our shop today. The Pelikan M205 Blue Demonstrator fountain pen is stunning and nice. It reminds us about the infamous Pelikan Blue Ocean that was produced several years ago. The clip, fittings and ornamental rings are chromium-plated and the blue transparent finish makes it appealing to many collectors. This is a one time production model and was told they are selling like hot cakes in many countries. It is available in fine, medium and broad stainless steel nibs.
